Under the Sheets is an intimate card game designed to help couples and close friends open up, connect deeply, and have honest conversations, both emotional and physical. This was the first end to end product design I had worked on at MyMuse, right from the cover illustration and packaging to the assets required for the product detail page and digital ads.
The core challenge was designing for intimacy without explicitness. The game needed to feel playful, inviting, and slightly naughty, while remaining safe enough to meet strict advertising and platform guidelines. The solution was to rely on suggestion, humour, and expressive characters creating curiosity and comfort rather than shock.

The visual language has a strong 70s aesthetic that informed everything from typography to colour. Warm, retro colour palettes and soft, expressive type choices helped create a visual language that feels open, playful, and human. It helped soften conversations around intimacy, making the game feel inviting rather than explicit, and allowed players to engage with vulnerability in a relaxed, pressure-free way.

The game is divided into five categories, each with three colour-coded difficulty levels that help players ease into vulnerability at their own pace. Each category was depicted by an Archie Comic-style illustration with a distinctly desi twist to make the game feel culturally grounded and approachable.

The prompts are designed to scale in emotional and physical intensity across difficulty levels, allowing players to ease into vulnerability at their own pace rather than being pushed abruptly.
Here's a preview of how the prompts differ across levels within the same category.
