Valentine's Day at MyMuse India? It's basically our World Cup. As one of the country's leading sexual wellness brands, the weeks leading up to V-Day are when things get seriously fun (and seriously intense).

For 2025, we wanted to create a discount campaign that would actually connect with our audience of 22-45 year-olds—not just another generic "spread the love" moment lost in a sea of red hearts and roses. As Design Lead, my job was to cook up a visual direction that felt fresh, relatable, and unmistakably us across everything from Instagram posts to email banners.

The magic happened when we landed on the campaign name: "DilDo." In Hindi, "Dil Do" means "Give your Heart"—sweet and romantic. In English? A cheeky wink to everyone's favorite bedroom essential. This beautiful accident of language did some heavy lifting for us: it was an innuendo that made people smile, it let us mix Hindi and English naturally, and best of all, it let us use an otherwise "explicit" word all over the internet without triggering India's strict digital advertising policies. Sometimes the universe just hands you gold.

Innuendo

To bring "DilDo" to life, we went full 90s Bollywood romance with dramatic film posters and over-the-top typography. The design mashed up Devanagari and English scripts in bold lockups that felt authentically filmi and reinforced our Hinglish vibe. For colours, we ditched Valentine's reds and pinks for a vibrant, weathered blue paired with playful yellows and warm corals. The palette stood out in crowded feeds while still delivering that discount campaign energy. Combined with retro typography and vintage textures, we created a cohesive visual world that felt inviting and impossible to scroll past.
